Gattaca

“There is no gene for the human spirit.”

A man named Vincent Freeman (Ethan Hawke) is turned away from every door that matters. His blood was never screened at birth, so the world has already decided what he is worth. He takes on the borrowed identity of Jerome Eugene Morrow (Jude Law), a genetically elite man, to get inside Gattaca Aerospace and reach space. Andrew Niccol directs it in cool, spare interiors, every surface clean and pale.
