Georgy Girl

“Georgy Girl is BIG!”

Why does a man like James Leamington (James Mason), her father's well-off middle-aged employer, keep turning up with attention for Georgy (Lynn Redgrave)? She is a plain, lively young woman in 1960s Swinging London, sharing a flat with Meredith (Charlotte Rampling), who is glamorous, stuck-up and pregnant. Silvio Narizzano follows Georgy as she tries to please Meredith and keep Leamington at arm's length, a girl who has never been the one anyone chooses.
