The satellites built to control the weather have started attacking the planet they were meant to protect. Jake Lawson (Gerard Butler), the designer who built the network, is pulled back in to find out why. His brother Max (Jim Sturgess) works inside the program as the clock runs down. Dean Devlin, directing his first feature, keeps the disasters coming at a steady, crowd-pleasing clip.
