Gerry

“The desert can be a silent world.”

Two friends who share the name Gerry (Casey Affleck and Matt Damon) leave the trail and keep walking when it stops making sense to turn back. The wrong turn becomes a longer one, and each attempt to find the way home takes them deeper into the desert. Gus Van Sant, working with Damon and Affleck on the script, gives them little to say, and the two just keep going.
