Gertrud
“AMOR OMNIA, Love is Everything.”
In turn-of-the-century Copenhagen, Gertrud Kanning (Nina Pens Rode) moves among artists and musicians, wanting a love that will never ask her to be less than everything. She leaves her distinguished husband, Gustav (Bendt Rothe), for a young concert pianist, Erland Jansson (Baard Owe). Carl Theodor Dreyer keeps Gertrud at the center of every room, certain of what she is owed, and willing to lose a good deal for it.
