(1983)Directed by Allan Arkush92 min · RComedy, Music

“It was the greatest rock event ever... until the place EXPLODED!”

It's New Year's Eve 1983, and Max Wolfe (Allen Garfield) has one night to get his small-time rock theater through its big concert. His rival, the mega-promoter Colin Beverly, plans to wreck it. Allan Arkush sends Wolfe's stagehands Neil Allen (Daniel Stern) and Willie Loman (Gail Edwards) running through the backstage mess, falling for each other while trying to keep the show alive and Malcolm McDowell's Reggie Wanker on the bill.
