“An education in incarceration.”

James King (Will Ferrell), a hedge fund manager with a mansion and a fiancée to match, wants one thing: to stay out of San Quentin. The judge gives him thirty days before sentencing, so he hires Darnell Lewis (Kevin Hart), the man who washes his car, to teach him how to survive inside. Etan Cohen has Darnell, who has never so much as had a parking ticket, invent his lessons on the spot, and James has a month to learn them.
