Gezhi Town

A unit of Chinese soldiers holds Gezhi Town during the Second Sino-Japanese War, but their orders keep shifting without explanation. Mo Dexian (Xiao Zhan) moves through the rubble and gunfire trying to understand what they are really defending and why command contradicts itself. By the end, he alone knows the cost of what was asked of him.
