Guy Thornton (Dermot Walsh) and his wife Margaret (Hazel Court) buy a rundown yacht even after being warned that it is haunted. They are skeptics, and they set about fixing the boat up as their home on the water. Vernon Sewell keeps the pair belowdeck among the old timbers, where Margaret hears things Guy cannot, and she begins to doubt what she knows.
