“Guess who's coming to save the world again?”

Dr. Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) and his old team have spent five years as a joke, sued into bankruptcy over the damage they caused fighting Gozer. Venkman hosts a psychic TV show, Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) works children's parties, and then a river of ectoplasm turns up beneath New York and the ghosts return. Ivan Reitman puts the crew back in their jumpsuits and proton packs, and Venkman has to decide whether he's still the man the city once trusted.
