“You really thought you’ve been scared?”

Pauline (Mylène Farmer) inherits a house from her aunt, and on the first night two intruders break in and come for her daughters. Sixteen years later Beth (Crystal Reed), now a writer, goes back to the house where her sister Vera (Anastasia Phillips) never recovered. Pascal Laugier makes the home itself the problem, since what happened there has no end, and the two sisters still live inside that night.
