Ghosts

Nina (Julia Hummer), a teenage orphan, wants someone to belong to, and in Berlin she finds Toni (Sabine Timoteo), a girl she meets while working as a garden cleaner. Meanwhile Françoise (Marianne Basler), freshly picked up from a psychiatric hospital by her husband, spots Nina and decides she is her daughter, taken years ago. Petzold follows Nina through one city and one day, where the only person who sees her is also the one who is not to be believed.
