Ghosts of Mississippi

Assistant District Attorney Bobby DeLaughter (Alec Baldwin) reopens the 1963 murder of Medgar Evers after Myrlie Evers (Whoopi Goldberg) has spent three decades waiting for someone in Mississippi to try the case again. His target is Byron De La Beckwith (James Woods), a white supremacist who walked free twice before. Rob Reiner keeps the trial in 1994, and Myrlie sits in the courtroom, still waiting.
