Chris (Brenton Thwaites) is one of five American soldiers sent to hold a French castle that was under Nazi control until recently. Eric Bress puts Chris, Kirk (Theo Rossi) and the rest inside its stone walls, where a supernatural enemy is already waiting. The war outside is the one they trained for, and what moves through the castle belongs to a different one.
