Giant

“Sometimes any man can be a giant . . .”

In the Texas of the 1950s, Bick Benedict (Rock Hudson) runs a huge cattle ranch, and he brings home a wife from Maryland, Leslie (Elizabeth Taylor). She is shocked by how the white ranchers treat the Mexican families who work the land, and Jett Rink (James Dean), a ranch hand, watches the marriage from the edge of the property. George Stevens follows the fight over prejudice from one generation to the next, long after the money has changed hands.
