Giliap

Giliap (Thommy Berggren) is a quiet waiter in a Swedish town, working a restaurant run by a morose manager who sours the room for staff and customers alike. Roy Andersson fills the kitchen with plate-cleaners and fellow waiters, among them Anna (Mona Seilitz), who keeps trying to reach him, and Gustav Svensson (Willie Andréason), a dishwasher who goes by "the count" and gets people to do what he wants. Giliap lets her attempts pass, and his own feelings arrive late.
