Gimme Shelter

“Sometimes you have to leave home to find your family.”

Agnes "Apple" Bailey (Vanessa Hudgens) is a streetwise teenager who has spent her whole life around her mother, June (Rosario Dawson), and her violence. She runs, and goes looking for the father she barely knows, Tom Fitzpatrick (Brendan Fraser), who turns her away when he learns she is pregnant. Ronald Krauss, working from a true story, leaves Apple at a door that stays shut.
