Girl 6

“She's the only thing better than being there.”

In 1996 New York, a struggling actress known only as Girl 6 (Theresa Randle) can't get a role, and the auditions keep asking for more than she's willing to give. She takes a job as a phone sex operator, answering calls under a made-up voice for a boss named Lil (Jenifer Lewis). Spike Lee follows her as the work starts to cost her, and her own life begins to blur with the characters she plays on the line.
