“Elvis jumps with the campus crowd to make the beach 'ball' bounce!!!”

Rusty Wells (Elvis Presley) is a rock and roll singer who keeps a band on the road and gets handed a job he didn't ask for. Chicago mobster Big Frank (Harold J. Stone) wants someone to watch his daughter Valerie (Shelley Fabares) over Spring Break in Fort Lauderdale, and he picks Rusty and the boys. Boris Sagal sends them south in the sun, where Rusty has to keep one eye on her and still make his gigs.
