Girl, Interrupted

“Sometimes the only way to stay sane is to go a little crazy.”

A "short rest" is what Susanna (Winona Ryder) is told she needs, on the word of a psychiatrist she has met exactly once. The rest turns out to be a psychiatric hospital in the late 1960s, full of girls like Lisa (Angelina Jolie) who seem at home there. James Mangold follows her as the doors stay shut, and the question is whether she ever walks back out.
