Girl with a Suitcase

Aida Zepponi (Claudia Cardinale) arrives with a suitcase and nowhere to go, a showgirl left behind by a man who used her and moved on. Lorenzo Fainardi (Jacques Perrin) is sixteen, the wealthy brother of that man, and he sets out to make up for the way she was treated. Valerio Zurlini follows the two of them through Parma, where a boy's kindness meets a woman three or four years older, who cannot afford to read it as only kindness.
