Girl with Green Eyes

Kate Brady (Rita Tushingham), a country girl newly arrived in Dublin, keeps finding her thoughts drawn to Eugene Gaillard (Peter Finch), an author twice her age. Her friend Baba (Lynn Redgrave) laughs at the idea, but Kate cannot say what pulls her toward him. Desmond Davis shot it in black and white, so the green eyes of the title are never seen.
