Girl with Hyacinths

In Stockholm in 1950, a young woman, Dagmar Brink (Eva Henning), takes her own life and leaves everything she owned to the man next door. Anders Wikner (Ulf Palme) barely knew her, yet he begins asking her friends and acquaintances who she was and why she did it. Hasse Ekman builds the picture of Dagmar from what other people remember of her, and Anders slowly stops being a stranger to a woman he can no longer meet.
