Girls Trip

“Forgive us in advance for this wild weekend”

The Essence Music Festival in New Orleans is where four friends who have drifted apart agree to meet again. Ryan Pierce (Regina Hall) arrives as a polished success story, while Dina (Tiffany Haddish) shows up loud and ready to start the weekend early. Malcolm D. Lee fills the frame with the whole crowd of them, letting the friends talk over one another like people who have known each other for years.
