“«An actress' life can be a real drag»”

In a Hollywood house shared by three actresses, Evie (Jack Plotnick) is a faded star who cannot stand the sight of Varla (Varla Jean Merman), the young roommate who happens to be her dead rival's daughter. Coco (Miss Coco Peru) tries to keep the peace while Evie's jealousy grows over Varla's new infomercial work. Richard Day plays the whole thing as a loving send-up of Sunset Boulevard and All About Eve, with every feeling pitched at the back row.
