Girls Will Be Girls

Mira (Preeti Panigrahi), a 16-year-old at a strict boarding school in the Himalayan foothills, begins to feel desire for the first time when Sri (Kesav Binoy Kiron), a charming new student, arrives. Her mother Anila (Kani Kusruti) watches over her closely, and the first stirrings of romance meet a protectiveness that has its own history. Shuchi Talati, making her feature debut, keeps the camera close to the three of them.
