Haruki Nakayama (Masatomo Nakazawa) has kept his feelings for Akihiko Kaji (Takuya Eguchi) to himself for years, and the reason is that Akihiko is still with his roommate, the violinist Ugetsu Murata (Shintaro Asanuma). Hikaru Yamaguchi picks up after the events of the anime series, following the three men as their history starts to press against one another. If any of them speaks plainly, a long friendship and the home they share could be lost.
