(2012)Directed by Iginio Straffi94 min · PGAnimation, Family
“Not Born to Be Gladiators”

Timo (Luca Argentero) is a student at the Gladiators' Academy in Rome who has no wish to follow his stepfather into the arena, until Lucilla (Laura Chiatti) walks into his life. Iginio Straffi's animated comedy sends him after the Colosseum's first victory with a ragged band of sidekicks, Chirone (Massimo Corvo) among them. Timo never wanted the sword and the sandals, and he picks them up anyway, all for her.
