“A story for everyone who works for a living.”

Over two days in a real estate office, four salesmen sit under a threat from the corporate side: after one week, everyone but the top two is fired. Ricky Roma (Al Pacino) closes deals easily, while Shelley Levene (Jack Lemmon) can no longer land a sale. James Foley films David Mamet's play as a run of blunt, overlapping talk, and Shelley keeps working the phone as though one good lead could still save him.
