“This is my love story.”

Sugihara (Yosuke Kubozuka) has transferred out of a Korean ethnic school into a Japanese public high school, where his fists settle most arguments. He is a third-generation Korean born in Japan, and he meets Sakurai (Ko Shibasaki) there, a girl he likes who knows nothing about his background. Isao Yukisada puts his hold on her against how little the country around him will give, and Sugihara has to decide how long he can keep his name to himself.
