Go Ask Alice

“A teenage girl's downward spiral into drug addiction.”

It is the late 1960s in America, and a 15-year-old girl takes a drink that has been dosed without her knowing. John Korty follows her from that one night into a world of sex and drugs, with a psychiatrist (Ruth Roman) and a priest (Andy Griffith) among the adults around her. The film stays close to the girl herself, her face young and uncertain, in an America that is moving faster than she can.
