God Exists, Her Name Is Petrunya

Petrunija (Zorica Nuševa) dives into a river after a wooden cross during a local ceremony that only men are allowed to enter, and she comes up holding it. Teona Strugar Mitevska follows what happens next, as the men chase her, a journalist named Slavica (Labina Mitevska) takes notice, and the police pull her in for questioning. Petrunija will not give the cross back, and keeping it could cost her her standing in the town.
