In a conservative Kerala village, the wrestling pit belongs to the men, and Anjaneya Das (Tovino Thomas), the coach's son, has little left to show for his own years in it. Then he brings home Aditi Singh (Wamiqa Gabbi), a wrestler from Punjab, and the village has to decide what to make of her. Basil Joseph keeps the camera close to the crowds and the pit, so the whole place seems to lean in with them.
