Reverend David Hill (David A.R. White) never planned to run for Congress, but the death of a favored incumbent leaves him believing God is calling him into the race. He finds himself facing off against state senator Peter Kane (Ray Wise), who is determined to strip religion from public life. What begins as a political clash becomes a test of whether two men with opposing convictions can find common ground.
