Godsend

“When a miracle becomes a nightmare, evil is born.”

Paul (Greg Kinnear) and Jessie Duncan (Rebecca Romijn) are a married couple whose eight-year-old son Adam (Cameron Bright) has just died. Richard Wells (Robert De Niro), a doctor who knows exactly what they have lost, offers to clone the boy, and they say yes.
