“戦後、日本。無（ゼロ）から負（マイナス）へ。”

A monster has come out of the sea into a Japan that has already lost everything it had to lose. Koichi Shikishima (Ryunosuke Kamiki), a former kamikaze pilot, carries the war home with him and meets the creature while still haunted by it. Takashi Yamazaki sets him beside Noriko Oishi (Minami Hamabe), and the two of them try to build a household out of the ruins, each unsure the other should stay.
