“Survive at any cost”

Virgil (Zac Efron) is a drifter crossing a desert in the not-too-distant future, and he and a fellow traveler, Keith (Anthony Hayes), come across the biggest gold nugget ever found. Keith leaves to fetch the tools to dig it out, and Virgil stays behind to guard it. Hayes directs, and the film follows Virgil through the heat, the wild dogs and the strangers who turn up, while he starts to suspect he's been left here to die.
