Golden Exits

Naomi (Emily Browning), a young foreigner in Brooklyn, wants a way into the lives of two families, and she takes a job helping Nick (Adam Horovitz), who is organizing the archive of his late father-in-law. Alex Ross Perry fills the film with Gwendolyn (Mary-Louise Parker), Sam (Lily Rabe) and Buddy (Jason Schwartzman), people who have settled into long unhappiness without ever saying so. Naomi has no idea how much quiet she is about to disturb in each of them.
