Gooby

“Because everybody needs a friend.”

Willy (Matthew Knight), eleven years old and newly moved into a house he's sure is crawling with space aliens, wishes for someone to protect him. What turns up is Gooby (voiced by Robbie Coltrane), a six-foot, scraggly orange creature who seems more frightened of the world than Willy is. Wilson Coneybeare sends the two out on their first scrambling adventures, and Willy starts to find he has someone to look after too.
