Years after the war, the men of a commando squad sent into Vietnam on a rescue attempt are turning up dead, one at a time. John T. Booker (Chuck Norris), who led that mission, starts working backward through the killings to find out why. Ted Post keeps the pace tight and the picture grainy, and Booker leans on Margaret (Anne Archer) as the one person he trusts while the list of survivors gets shorter.
