Good Posture

Lillian (Grace Van Patten) leaves her boyfriend and takes a room in Brooklyn with Julia Price (Emily Mortimer), a famous author who hasn't been seen in public for years. Julia is an old friend of Lillian's father, and she has not asked for a houseguest. Dolly Wells, making her directorial debut, builds the film around a young woman who has always let other people carry her, and what it takes for her to start carrying herself.
