Goodbye Bafana

James Gregory (Joseph Fiennes) is a white South African prison guard who grew up speaking Xhosa and holds the racial views of his time. He is posted to guard a single prisoner, Nelson Mandela (Dennis Haysbert), and to read and censor his mail. The story follows Gregory's life, and his marriage to Gloria (Diane Kruger), across the twenty years Mandela is in his charge. Bille August directs it as a true story drawn from Gregory's own book.
