Goodbye June

“A good goodbye... It's all that matters.”

Nobody in the family can say how long June (Helen Mirren) has left, only that this Christmas is different from the others. Her children come home to her bedside: Helen (Toni Collette), Connor (Johnny Flynn), Molly (Andrea Riseborough), and their father Bernie (Timothy Spall) is there too. In her first film as director, Kate Winslet shows a family that finally has to say what it has avoided saying, because a dying mother leaves no time to wait.
