Goodbye Solo

Solo (Souléymane Sy Savané) is a Senegalese cab driver who talks to every fare, including the quiet old man in his back seat. William (Red West) pays him to drive to a spot where he plans to end his life, and Solo makes it his business to change the man's mind. Ramin Bahrani films the rides in a plain, observational style, and the performances never feel staged.
