“Meet Doug, the nicest guy you'll ever fight.”

Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott) is a slacker who bounces drunks at a bar, and he can't skate. When a minor league hockey coach sees him in a fight, he signs Doug on as the team's muscle, and Doug's best friend Pat (Jay Baruchel) talks him into taking the job. Michael Dowse sets him against Ross Rhea (Liev Schreiber), the league's veteran enforcer, who isn't willing to share the title with anyone.
