Gorath

“The crisis of the colliding mystery star is imminent! Can the Earth break free of its orbit?”

Dr. Tazawa (Ryō Ikebe) is an astronomer in 1976 who learns that a runaway star called Gorath is heading straight for Earth. Ishirō Honda follows the scientists as the observation ships sent out to study it are pulled in, and as the plan for giant rockets at the South Pole takes shape. Tatsuma Kanai (Akira Kubo) sits in a catatonic daze after his near escape, the star still out there, still coming.
