“Because someone is dead doesn't mean they're gone.”

Dr. Miranda Grey (Halle Berry) works as a criminal psychologist at a mental institution, until a car crash leaves her waking up inside it as a patient. She is accused of murdering her husband Douglas (Charles S. Dutton) and remembers none of it, and only her colleague Pete Graham (Robert Downey Jr.) might listen. Mathieu Kassovitz keeps her in the institution's cell, the same walls where she once held her sessions.
