Goyo: The Boy General

“Remember who you are.”

Gregorio del Pilar (Paulo Avelino), the young general everyone calls Goyo, wants a place in the revolution's history that matches his own image of himself. He takes command as General Antonio Luna lies dead and the war against the Americans drags on, with Emilio Aguinaldo (Mon Confiado) leading a cause that is losing its way. Jerrold Tarog shows a revolution divided against itself, and a hero's fame being built on the same ground as the country's loss.
