Goyokin

Magobei Wakizaka (Tatsuya Nakadai) is a rōnin who has dropped out of samurai society, living alone and carrying the guilt of his past transgressions. Hideo Gosha sets the story in the late Tokugawa period, where Magobei, with Tetsuro Tamba's Rokugo Tatewaki in the picture, tries to atone. If he fails, a massacre goes ahead and people he has never met die for it.
