Gran Torino

“Get off my lawn.”

Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood), a Korean War veteran and widower, lives alone on a tree-lined street in Detroit where the neighborhood has shifted around him. When teenage Thao (Bee Vang) is pressured into stealing Walt's prized Gran Torino, the old man sees a chance to impose order on a kid with no father. What begins as gruff coercion hardens into genuine affection, and Walt discovers he is willing to sacrifice everything to protect.
