“Get off my lawn.”

Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood), a Korean War veteran, lives in a Detroit-area neighborhood that has filled with Hmong families, and he has no use for any of them. His one prized possession is a 1972 Gran Torino, until Thao (Bee Vang), the teenager next door, tries to steal it. Eastwood directs, and Walt, widowed and sour, sets out to straighten the boy out, a job he never wanted.
